Had a new upstairs bathroom fitted with new LED ceiling lights and a ceiling
extratctor fan. When I went up into my loft space I noticed that the contractors had moved the loft insulation aside whilst fitting said services. Leaving the main body of the LED light uncovered/exposed with surrounding patches of ceiling plasterboard showing. Is it alright for me to put the loft insulation back in place over the lights or could this cause a fire risk. Should I use loose fill insulation of some type and just fill in the voids, butting up against the plastic body of the light?
