Painting a new Pine Summerhouse White on Inside

by Melanie73 » Thu Jul 20, 2017 11:16 am

Hi,

I've just had a pine summerhouse installed and want to paint the inside white to keep it bright.
I guess I have to treat the knots in the wood can i then just emulsion or do I need to prime or undercoat?

Thanks

If you go over it with 2 coats of acrylic primer undercoat it'll make your life a lot easier when putting the top coats on-emulsion wouldn't be very good as it offers no protection and is really designed for internal plaster work-an acrylic eggshell or satin would be your best bet.
