can you advise please i`m running a 2.5 armored cable to my shed
the length of the run is just over 35M

i enclose a photo of consumer box the water heater fuse is no longer needed
as i have a combi boiler now

can you advise what MCB needed in my consumer box 32amp or higher ?

about the armored cable better to dig a trench 1ft deep
or could i pin it to my wall

It depends on the load and the distance as to what the size of the cable should be. We know the distance is 35M which I would say is ok for a lamp or two, but anything else you are going to need a bigger cable.
Also are you aware that this is notifiable to the LABC as it comes under part P of the building regs. (In short as a "handyman" you are not allowed to do this job unless you get it certified)

For the consumer unit you have specified , the 2.5 would be too small.
As already stated , this is notifiable works.
I Assume you have an Electrician with you who can test , inspect and certify the work.

Assuming used for lighting then 13A will allow around 32 meters of 2.5 mm cable before it exceeds permitted volt drop. So no point using consumer units when maximum is 10A will allow 43 meters so if following to the letter then 10A fuse in a FCU feeding shed with a switched FCU in the shed with 3 amp fuse for the lights.

Be aware Part P varies through the UK.

would it be better to run a 4mm or 6mm armored cable instead of 2.5mm ?
what size mcb at consumer box in house should i use 45amp ?
and OK to pin to wall
if i do the work myself i`ll find and ask a electrician to check for me

I would say 6 mm with 6 mm at 26 amp you can run up to 66 meters installation method C and with 4 mm at 26 amp you can run 43 meters this is not allowing for volt drop in the out building.
