downstairs ans landing lights

Hi
I need help.
How do you conect the hall and landing lights without a problem.

It was connected once but then the bathroom light wouldnt come on. then after another attempt i thought wooppee its done but then the bathroom light came on but the landing lights faded

All I need is for some one to tell me how to connect the hall light, the landing light without having all these problems

Please please any onr out there to help

You're lucky it hasn't gone 'bang' yet. If you keep swopping wires over for long enough, it will! Seriously, you need to understand what the wires are first. Unless your wiring is very old and dodgy, the reason why the light dimmed is because you've conncted it in series with the other lighting circuit. You need to look at a diagram of how lights are connected before you do it. Happy to answer any questions though.

Please go to the projects section and read the project on 2 way lighting. Also look at the other electrical projects to get some idea of how the lighting system works.
