In my bathroom I have a bath, and a separate shower with a three valve concealed shower system. The bath water is occasionally quite cold and I've discovered that the shower temperature control seems to be the cause i.e. change the setting on the shower valve and the bath water is suddenly hot, move the control back and the bath water is cold.
I suspect there is a need for a check valve or perhaps two. Am I correct to think that these should be fitted to the hot and cold inlet to the shower controls?
Any sensible advice would be very welcome.
