Removing Recessed Spot Lights From False Ceiling Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

I am removing a false ceiling that has 6 recessed spot lights in. When removed I will be putting up a normal single light. How are these spots likely to be connected to the mains? I am guessing that they will have been connected to the original cable out of the original cable rose/ round box. Hopefully easy to isolate pending someone coming to fit new light?

Sadly that is not a question any one can answer without looking at the lights, it is dependant on the choice of who ever installed it.
