Rendering on Old Stone House With no DPC

by MTBHuw » Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:04 pm

Hello. I am after some advice about how our house should have been rendered at ground level.

The house was built around 1860, a mix of stone from the local area but at some point it has been rendered, not our choice.

There's no DPC. Should the walls have been rendered down to ground level and stopped there so that water would run away from the house, or should, as it does, go down beyond current outside ground levels? Any advice/thoughts appreciated.
