Black Glazing Seal too Tight for Perfect Fit Blinds

by Espe84 » Mon Nov 06, 2017 10:45 am

Looking for some guidance as have purchased Perfect Fit blinds but cannot insert white clips into the black glazing seal around the window as the seal is too firm/tight and the clip won't slide down between the glazing seal and the window.

Have tried using washing up liquid to lubricate the clip (as advised by the instructions) to no avail.

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can install these blinds. They are made-to-measure and I doubt I can get a refund. Should I replace the glazing seal with something more pliable? Any help most appreciated.

hi there,

what type of window/ door is this going into? UPVC, timber Ali? as this will help to diagnose and find a solution.

Hi,
I have also got the same problem as this with my UPVC patio doors and just wondered if you solved it?
