I have recently moved house, the house was built around 1906. The ensuite and main bathroom toilets are back to back. When the en-suite is flushed the water...and anything lying in the pipe is pushed into the main toilet which then needs to be flushed to clear the waste. Initially we tried a one way valve but this caused the main toilet to block. This has now been removed but we are now left with the original problem. There is one soil pipe that both toilets are connected to.
- Is there another sort of valve that can be fitted?
- Can another pipe be added from one of the toilets and join the main soil pipe a little further along so that they are not back to back...would this solve the problem?
This is very unpleasant and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
