Just moved into new home and problem with boiler! Approx 2013 installation and no idea if recently serviced or not
. Getting a flashing blue light so try to reset but continues to flash steadily on and off. Can hear the fan running. Out of nowhere I tried resetting while running the hot tap, it worked and ran for 20 mins or so. Came back next day tried similar method as it was flashing again but no joy. Tried to reset whilst simply fiddling the temperature dial, and it fired up. Ran fine for hour then ran hot tap and went into fault mode again. Can not find any consistency with it so trying to narrow it down before calling out an engineer. Sorry it may sound a bit random but so far this is all the info I can provide. Any info much appreciated, located near Southport in case any local engineers are available to take a look?
