Stopping Gravel From Graveled Paths Getting on Grass

by DenisCooper » Tue Feb 06, 2018 10:06 pm

Hi,

I put in some gravel paths in the garden last year, but the dog keeps kicking all the pebbles out onto the lawn when running down the paths.

Is there anything I can do to kind of glue these down and make firm paths instead of lose gravel, or is it a case of redoing them a different way?

Thanks

You could maybe try a layer of Self Binding Gravel.
I think it contains some sort of bonding agent which means the gravel compresses and forms a near-solid surface which still has the appearance of gravel.
You see this around stately homes and in big landscaped gardens.
A cheaper option might be some sort of edging between your path and the lawn
