Ran out of Concrete Laying Slab for Summer House but What to do now? Post your questions and get answers regarding all areas of drives, pathways and patios

Hi all
Laid a slab for the foundation of a log cabin summer house last weekend and unfortunately ran out of materials and daylight!!

The result being 1 1/2" under the shuttering and not the smoothest of finishes with some noticeable ripples.

What are my options, can pour another 1 1/2" of concrete on top or am I better off with a thin layer of self levelling compound on top?

! 1/2 ins is a bit thick for self leveling compound and a bit thin for a screed. One option would be to add a 1/2 ins strip of wood on top of the shuttering and then you might get away with a concrete screed (2 ins) of 3 sharp sand to 1 cement.
