Can You Get Upward Lifting Door Handles?

Hi, does anybody know if you can fit door handles to open upwards instead of downwards?
If so, how?

If you fit the handles upside down (on wrong side of door) they will work upwards, unless of course they are locking handles which are not symmetrical top to bottom. Question is why you would want to?
