Hi we are having a dormer loft conversion done at the moment.
I mentioned to the builder about leaving the chimneys exposed as a feature but they said it wasn’t in good enough condition- I accepted this at the time but the more I think about it the more I want to keep them exposed.
I’m happy to do wire brushing etc myself but I’m a real diy novice and have young kids to look after :/
What do you all think? Would it be a lot of work to get them cleaned up- raked and repointed?
