We recently had our existing dormer with flat roof refurbed, GRP roof, soffits and guttering etc, re-clad in UPVC (I wanted to do it myself but the missus wanted it done yesterday), anyway, when changing the radiator today it is apparent that the roofer/builder has just overclad the existing (rotting) wood cladding, there is no insulation in the dormer front wall or cheeks (I havent yet confirmed what condition the roof insulation is in).
My question is, does anyone know if they are responsible under building regs to insulate it? Had I done the work myself I would have insulated it.
