So my wife and I have been clearing out the garage, in the hopes of converting it to have some safe dry storage and maybe a mini gym.
We have just about finished the clear out and now a damp patch has appeared, of course! Here's a pic.
There used to be an upright piano against that wall for quite a few years. Now that it's gone this damp patch has come up.
Now this is a special case as this wall is 'underground'. I've attached a pic so you can see, the garage is under the house and partly under the balcony.
So not really sure what the cause is or if it's serious or not?
What should I do to sort this out taking into account that the aim is to make the garage a dry area for storage?
Any help is much appreciated!
