I've just finished knocking off the old tiles in the bathroom and in doing so have removed patches of finishing plaster with them. The wall is a stud wall with plasterboard and a skim coat then the old tiles were affixed to this.
I'd like advice on the best approach for the patches of missing finishing plaster, should i remove the rest of the finishing plaster and tile directly to the plasterboard or use bonding plaster to re smooth the surface ready for tiling?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
