Brick Match Help Required for Garage Conversion

by pj483 » Sun Jul 01, 2018 4:09 pm

We’re converting our garage and would like the new wall to match the existing for a more pleasing finish. However we’re struggling to match the blocks which sit below the existing window (pictures below). They’re shaped like a cant brick and this is what the builder supplied but the dimensions are wrong. The approximate dimensions I can gather from the bricks in situ are:

height = 127mm
width = 64mm
height of front vertical face = 49mm
length of slope = 130mm

The house was built by Wimpey in the Cardiff area about 20 years ago if that helps.

Thanks.
