Hi,
I've recently moved into a house where there was no handle on the kitchen window, but a spindle and a spanner to open/ close it!
I think it was an espag handle that was originally on it as the space between screw holes is 43mm.
I cannot get the spindle out though to put a new handle on. Any ideas? The locking mechanism has two points on the underside of the window. I've tried to upload images but they're too big!

I have same problem here , window handle came off but spindle is stucked in the window. Could you please let me know if you manage to get rid of spindle from the window ?
