Hi all, I've bought an absolute wreck of a house and its being rendered and plastered throughout. All gas fires have been removed but upstairs bedroom all have 200mm x 200mm ventilation holes with cast iron grids on the outside. I was planning on keeping them to help the house breathe as it has a history of damp.
I can't find adjustable vent covers to fit on the inside at that size and I'm not keen on just having an open cover on them as the house is single brick and cold enough without that helping matters.
Any help appreciated
