Moss on Roof and Does Copper Really Work?

by greengrass » Sat Dec 08, 2018 2:38 pm

Moss not very heavy but enough to reduce flow in gutters when washed off in rain and culitvating its own garden, requiring regular clean out.

Copper? does it really work, The main part is the rear where the guttering access on conservatory where it meets the roof not accessable without climbing on the roof, (its a shallow angle roof) I move about on padded board to prevent my rear end forming in to a roman roll tile shape watched and laughed at by seagulls sitting on the ridge.

I've tried to train them to pick off the large lumps of moss by tempting with food but the b.....s take the food and fly off.
many thanks for reading and responding
