Curved Free Standing Blockwork Wall All manner of questions and solutions to problems and issues surrounding the subject of brickwork, blockwork and stonework

I am looking to build a freestanding curved (say 8m radius) concrete block wall which will then be faced with brickwork. Maximum height approx 1.6m and overall length say 10m. The wall will not be supporting any structures.

A couple of questions;

a) What would be an appropriate block thickness
b) Would I need to include pillars and if so at what frequency
c) Roughly, what depth foundation would be appropriate.
