Fixing to a tiled wall

by pri » Tue Jul 24, 2007 8:22 am

I need to box in pipework in my bathroom. The pipes run between a tiled wall and tiled floor.

What is the best way to fix wooden battens to tiled surfaces?

Gripfill

Hello there,
I've used gripfill [use this link http://www.awin1.com/pclick.php?p=14399 ... 071&m=1228 ) to do the very same thing. Just remember to use screws & not nails when fixing the 'box' to the battens..
Cheers
John

Agree with John, Gripfil is great stuff. Glue the nattens one night and fix the boxing the following day. It will see us all out ! If you don't fancy this take a look at our project called fixing to ceramic tiles.
