Toilet Cistern Overfill and Overflowing

by Riatsala » Tue May 14, 2019 9:50 pm

Having to turn water off after each fill due to overflow. Initially it started to fill very slowly but since I've taken the float attachment off to have a look it is now filling very quickly, seems to be seeping out the white valve whatever that is at the top...and in turn doesn't stop filling. (picture attached). It's a charlotte high level cistern, everything on the right side. I saw the same float in selco today but just tried changing the washer first with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks, Al
