Wet Room Panels vs Tiles for Revamping Ensuite

by Kelly_L » Tue Apr 09, 2019 4:35 pm

We are in the process of revamping our ensuite and have a small-ish shower enclosure and mixer shower ready to go in. As it's only a small area we're giving thought to using acrylic panels for waterproofing the walls, rather than tiling. Does anyone have any advice on these? We often see them used in hotels and figure they look cleaner than lots of grouting but do they work out more expensive than tiles do you think and are they easy to fit?

I have these in my ensuite, perfect for a small shower and really easy to use, as you say they are easy to keep clean as well but they can be quite ugly, just depends if you're worried about aesthetics!
