Hi, I'd be grateful for any advice on alternatives to plasterboard. I have a pillar like structure against a kitchen wall (it covers the soil stack as the kitchen is an extension), which needs to be made smaller. Originally it was all made of plasterboard, but it's a very tight space and I think plasterboard will be too thick to finish the job. What would be the best durable alternative - hardboard, plywood, or???? Thanks :)
