Hi, I 1st noticed that on the back of the Fridge that ice was building up, round the thermostat sensor. I had thought that maybe that was because I had it tilted too far back so that the doors would always swing shut. I removed the ice but then noticed later that the Fridge/Freezer was not going off. Just constantly on !!
Could anyone please give me their best guess of the problem ?
I have ordered a new thermostat located in the upper part of the fridge.
What really puzzles me is, If the Fridge is constantly on, I would have expected liquids to have frozen, that is, the milk and bottles of lemonade, or to have been "ice" cold. The fridge is cold enough but not as cold as I would like, if that makes sense. The freezer seems fine. But obviously I can't have it constantly running for fear of fire etc
Is it highly likely that it's a Thermostat problem, worth trying, or am I wasting my time. Or possibly the relay ?
It is an old model Candy CP 3012/9 .
Many thanks for reading . Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Cheers , Tom
