Best way to Repair Chipped Doorframes

by BenBroadstairs » Mon Jul 22, 2019 2:50 pm

Hello

I have about twenty chipped door frames in the house in various states.

What's the best and least time consuming way to deal with this without it looking awful to a civilian (i.e. not professional decorator) ? I don't have the time to individually sand each one completely down and repaint. And in trying to fill a few with caulk type options, I seem to just sand, fill, sand, it chips and it's a complete pain!

Would it not be better to sand, paint over the shallow chips, wait until it dries and then paint whole frame? Otherwise I'm looking at weeks worth of work.

Family separation, so selling up and don't have time (or stamina) to do much else.
