Hi, looking to remove this bit of wall thats in the middle of the lintel. Can i do this? A builder did come round and said yes yes thats fine but just wanted to get a few more opinions. Any structural engineers out there that could help?? Thanks!
The wall did used to continue through to make a little room for a toilet but ive already taken all that away.
Above is the wall of one of the bedrooms (brick).
I found the main beam that span the width of the house sitting 2 or 3 feet back from that lintel.
On the pictures its the little nub of wall in between the two props.
