Hello there!

I've just moved into my new house and someone thought it would be a good idea to paint the stairs black!

After consulting many forums, I decided to use a heat gun to remove the paint. This worked well for the first 8 steps. However, the paint on the last 4 steps simply wont react to the heat. It doesn't bubble up, and with scrapping simply goes slightly duller.

Should I buy a sander? Any advice on how to proceed would be ace. Thanks
