Hopefully someone can help me. So I am in the process of stripping the walls of artex (the artex has been tested for asbestos and was negative) and upon getting through the artex there’s three very thin coloured layers (pink, green then yellow) then a grey layer about 4mm thick before getting to the brick. https://imgur.com/a/7kNlRJa Are the coloured layers some sort of primer or is it just old pain and is this grey layer old plaster? And if it is what prep needs to be done to paint. The house was built mid-60s. Thanks, Adam
