I got someone in to remove a chimney stack and make good the roof. Instead of black bitumen felt, it's just been patched with this white material which is now flapping with the wind. It's just this white material and then the tiles. Is this how it's supposed to be done? Does it make for better ventilation, as I'm sure it's going to be freezing in winter! Just that the rest of the roof obviously has the black thick material so this bit stands out a bit..
