Best Adhesive to Stick Wooden Unit to Glazed Metro Tiles

by cgfw201 » Fri Nov 22, 2019 10:01 am

We've got a plywood shelving unit in our bathroom which came off the wall this week.

It was put on by the previous owners, and was only attached by double sided tape, it turns out. Just has the toothbrush holder on it and some other light things, so didn't need much more.

Anyway, tried and failed to stick it back up with No More Nails yesterday. Held it in place for about 15 mins but just wasn't setting or gripping at all.

Any suggestions for another adhesive, or should I just drill through the tiles and screw it in? Due to it's location it's annoyingly difficult to clamp or wedge in place.

I screwed it on. It's sorted.
