Flooring Advice and Safety for Kids and Pets!

by SusanJablowski » Tue Feb 04, 2020 2:12 am

Hi Guys!

I am after some advice on a flooring product whether it's safe for children and pets and I need for it to be hardwearing?

I am looking at Karndean Korlok for the whole ground floor of my home.

http://www.flooringking.co.uk/product-c ... -flooring/

I was gonna ask them about the product but before they sell me a load of rubbish I wanted to know from first-hand experiences from users on here? Its a lot of money to spend on flooring but I have been told it's pretty good and long-lasting?

Any help and advice would be appreciated!!!!

Thank you

Susan

It's a good floor but does rely upon the subfloor being very very level. The main issue with these click LVT floors is that the tongue on the click joints is susceptable to breaking if the floor underneath is not level.

Great floor, and usually less expensive to get on the floor compared to more traditional glue down LVT.

Not as warm underfloot as a quality Laminate though.
