low hot water pressure in kitchen

by rslamb42 » Sun Sep 09, 2007 6:20 pm

i am refurbishing a ground floor flat and after fitting a new kitchen, i have noticed that the hot tap flow is very poor, , but the hot water flow in the bath and bath sink is ok , the flat was built in 1962 and the pipes leading to the kitchen go under the concreate floor, as the disapear under the floor there is some green deposit on the copper , is is possible that the pipe have fured up in side with this green stuff or maybe there leaking under the floor? how can i clean the pipes out ?

both the isilator valves work where the pipes entre the kichen so i think there ok,
cant understand why its ok in the bathroom and not in the kichen,

Can i fit a small booster pump at the hot water tank to improve the flow ?
any ideas where and how much they cost ?
