Hi All,
New.
We have an alleyway wall that is single bricked, and its very cold in winter. Council are not bothered about it and say its not a problem, but we know it is as its really cold to the touch and collects condensation because of it. Resulting in mold.
Question were asking is: we want to pallet wood the wall, for the looks/ feature wall and the benefits of adding an extra layer of insulation to the wall. Do we need to vapor barrier it first or just paint with anti mold paint, then baton the wall with insulation like insulation boards then slat up the wall with reclaimed palet wood? or can we just do without the vapor barrier?
thanks in advance
