Drilled Holes Too Big for Attaching Pull-up Bar

by n5erk » Sun Apr 26, 2020 12:13 pm

I have 8 holes in an external wall, which is going to be used to be used to attach a pull-up bar. 4 of the holes are fine, but the other 4 are too big.
What is the best was to fix this problem?
I have attached pictures of the screws, wall and holes.
Thanks

Hi n5erk,
The fixings you are using should expand enough to grip in the hole - try one. If this doesn't work buy some rawlplugs and use coach screws.
