CT1 Power Grab n Bond with concrete cladding

by itsme45 » Fri May 01, 2020 11:14 am

Hi there!

Has anyone ever used this CT1 Power Grab n Bond product ?

I saw this video of them sticking concrete cladding direct to the wall

https://youtu.be/XVRDFgUnVLs

I'm doing a project and intedned to use mechanincal anchors with epoxy resin as 'keystones' & grab adhesive for the inbetween units.

C-Tec's cunsomter service arent very helpful when I contacted them and suggested Power Grab n Bond does away with the neeed for any mechanical fixings...

Anyone had any experience with this stuff?

Thanks!

Just posting my findings for anyone else searching in the future.. ordered a tube and bonded a concrete test piece 20 cm diameter (1.2 kg) to the wall it grabbed instantly with no slippage. Next day I stood on it and it took my bodyweight (around 75 kg)! .. am convinced it can replace mechanical fixings for my intended use, wish I could get an answer from their tech dept about how long the bond is supposed to last, but will keep trying........
