I've bought a set of 3x 12v kitchen lights - the sought that fit directly beneath the cabinet.
The only practicle power source is a spar socket spur, so I used a plug with a 5A fuse to the 12v transformer :?
Because of the location of the socket, I decided to put in an in-line switch (5A rated) in between the socket and the transformer.
The lights will work until the switch is operated, which seems to be blowing the fuse in the plug
As I've 5A fused switches to power outside lights etc., I thought this would work fine but it's got me baffled.
Anyone got any thoughts?
