Noise From Pipework for Oil Fired Central Heating Boiler

by ptfcambs » Sat May 16, 2020 1:53 pm

Hello
I have a recently installed oil fired ch boiler. It is a Firebird Envirogreen Combipac HE 20kW.
Recently when the weather was warm and so the boiler was switched on but not active,
it started to make intermittent chugging noises from the pipework of which I've got an audio file of it but can't attach to this. I've switched it off now.
Any ideas what might cause this noise? Should I call back the installer?

Thanks,
ptfcambs

Hi ptfcambs
If the boiler was not firing at the time then you need to call the installer.
