Hi. I've recently laid a concrete slab for a bike store. 50mm of concrete on top of 100mm hardcore/crusher run. I'm ready to remove the wooden framework now, but I'm a bit concerned as 2 sides of the framework have no support, so potentially the sub base could just fall out. I've piled and compacted some loose earth and stones I had left over, will that be sufficient? I have some ballast and cement left over so could easily make some more concrete and lay it against the sub base when the frame is removed. Would that be a better option? Hope that makes sense. Many thanks.
