Bathroom lighting fixture but unfamiliar wiring

by vgreen69 » Wed May 27, 2020 2:48 pm

I have replaced lighting fixtures in my previous house and was familiar with all the wires. When I took the cover and fixture off this one, there were only the three wires. One of them wasn't attached to anything, which concerns me.

If anyone can tell me what I should do in order to reconnect this safely I would be grateful.

All I can say is screw thread is neutral and centre pin is line, I would need to test to work out what wire is what.
