I was going to use 8 or 10mm slimline DG units in some new hardwood sashes for my existing bay window but came across the warnings about the seals not being very effective due to the reduce nightlines.

I don't need the small sightline so was wondering whether the secondary seal could be increased up to say where the standard units are to improve the longevity of the units.
