Finding the Right Coupling Fittings for Compressor

by a.stevens1438 » Wed Jun 03, 2020 6:21 pm

Hello,

Really quite new to DIY in general and I've gone and bought myself a Draper DA50/207 50L 230V 2.0HP Air Compressor. Along with the purchase, I also bought a Draper 52662 7.6 m 1/4-Inch BSP Nylon Recoil Air Hose.

I also got a Dewalt DPSB2in1 Combination Nailer to use with the compressor.

Trouble is, I just can't figure out how to connect it all together. I've got as far as needing a 1/4" NPT High Flow Fitting for the gun and 3/8" (10mm) Air Hose fitting, but not sure about the couplings for the other side. Searched all over Google, but really can't figure it out.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Feeling a bit flummoxed by it all!

Hi a.stevens1438
Sadly there are different thread patterns on compressed air tools and equipment depending on the place of manufacture. The easiest option is to take all your stuff along to a business dealing in compressed air equipment and buy all the appropriate adaptors with matching quick release couplings.
