Hopeful for some help here guys. I've just started renovating a house so expect this will be the first of many questions!
I've recently had a bedroom lime plastered. It looks great. However I went to limewash it today (it's been probably 3 months since plastering finished). I stupidly put sections of masking tape on the wall and removed them shortly after (5 mins max). When I've put the first coat of limewash on, the lines are as clear as day. It seems the pigments is reacting with those sections differently.
There is no residue, or stickiness left over from the tape.
Any ideas on what the issue is and how to resolve?
