Getting a hot tub in the garden - removing a drain pipe?

by nicx5 » Wed Jun 10, 2020 8:52 pm

Hello all,

First time poster here and looking for some advice.

We have been looking for a hot tub for a while and finally have found one but there's a drain pipe in the way!

Getting the hot tub down the alley at the side of the house will just fit until we get to a drain pipe. The hot tub suppliers have recommended taking it out just to get it in but it runs right into the ground from the top of the house and doesn't appear to be in smaller sections. I just wanted to know if this is going to turn out to be a big job or should be relatively easy?

We have already got an electrician lined up and someone to remove a garden fence panel and I'm starting to feel like its a lot of work!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi nicx5
Cut out a section and refit it using rubber couplers.
