What to use to stick a ceiling tile? Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

I need to replace a single ceramic ceiling tile and am not sure what the best adhesive is to use. Also, because it is just one tile I would rather not have to buy a massive quantity!

The tile is 240mm x 335mm and about 10mm thick, so, there is a bit of weight in it and I need to be sure it is not going to drop off!!!!

I have attached a photo, which shows that it will be stuck on to wood (looks like ply-board)

Any suggestions on what to use?

Suggest you use solvent based gripfil or something similar. If this really is a tile fitted to the ceiling I would recommend a mechanical fixing be added.
