Accurate Cuts With AAC/YTONG

by Jimmydave937911 » Sat Jul 04, 2020 6:26 pm

Hi,

I’m looking to make some more accurate cuts in AAC/YTONG.
I use a concrete saw for the main cuts, but is it possible to use a jigsaw for some more precise cuts? Is there a specific blade I could use to put in a jigsaw?

Thanks

Hi jimmydave937911
You could use a jigsaw but the problem will be finding a long enough blade - you will have to use one for cutting wood. Your alternative is to use a sabre saw which has longer blades.
Regards S
