Let's just say "a friend" was very keen to get on with painting an MDF bookshelf, had got some silly ideas from Instagram, and just bashed on some furniture paint without primer or undercoat. The paint has dried all lumpy where it's slid around a bit drying out. How's best to sort this out? Sand down and try another coat or just totally start again? Thank you!
