have hotmail account and cannot move emails to save to specific folders..
I open list of actions, select "move to " the folder list appears then in blink of an eye disappears, so now have several emails I want to save but can't. what causes folder list to disappear. each time selected.

Never liked Hotmail, lags behind all the user friendly alternatives.
Try MyMail, free, you can give it your existing email address and it will open copies of everything, then reply, or choose usual options like Spam, delete, save etc.
Give it a couple of weeks, you can always get rid of it if you dont like it.
But Gmail had the best ratings last time I looked.
